Pros and cons of Alien Blue - reddit official client app for iPhone and iPad
Alien Blue - reddit official client app good for
Its a pretty good app and i use use a lot but like it was already said its a bit buggy but that, I dont care that much. Though, there is a big problem, it drains my battery way too much its unbelievable, I said I used it a lot but I dont use my phone that much but the app has 80% of all my battery use in the last 24 hours, 80 damn percent, the app obviously needs some optimizations
Best way to browse reddit on mobile ! Gets even better with every update !
As the title said, its a very nice ApL and very beautiful, go for it Reddit users !
There cant be many people out there who dont know the reddit forum, but it is possible that you havent tried Alien Blue. You should. It s great.
A lot of people think this app is bad... Really bad! I thought so too. But after a deeper use, I think this app is really great! I recommend forcing yourself to use it for a week and youll find it more comfortable to you! The design is not bad, just different! Youll get used to and love it ☺️
Im happy to see Alien Blue finally joining Reddit as their official iOS app. Congratulations to everyone but especially to /u/jase! <3
Some bad moments
Reddit has the worst designer ever.ama isnt ugly enough now that they have to ruin alien blue too??!
This version is so incredibly buggy - performance seems to have dropped in a number of places, videos start playing by themselves, rotation doesnt always work correctly, the locks screen bug STILL hasnt been fixed...
This is a great application but youre killing it by skimping on testing.
Whoever designed this piece of junk along with the one who decided to give it a go should never ever try to design an app again. Ever.
Its honestly one of the most bizarre design I ever encountered in an app. Im currently using Alien Blue which is much simpler and intuitive to use.
Ive always used Alien Blue and it was perfect until a major update. Ever since it doesnt work at all : fails to login, fails to refresh, erreur 503. Now it just shows an empty screen.
Now Im hoping I would find an app that works as well as the old Alien Blue !
The latest update makes it even worse ! Do not upload!!
What happened to the Alien? Why is his antenna so long now? He looks plain weird.
